PartYard Privacy Policy
PartYard is a tool for vehicle workshops. It receives spare parts against a vehicle or job card, records where each part is stored, and finds the part again by scanning the vehicle's VIN sticker or number plate. It is used by workshop staff under an account their workshop administrator creates. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and what your rights are.
1. Who is responsible
Your workshop is the data controller for the data it records in PartYard (vehicles, parts, photos, storage locations and its staff accounts). HundAI Tech provides the app and hosting as a processor on the workshop's behalf, and is the controller for the limited operational data described in section 3. Contact: pakwaten@gmail.com.

PartYard does not show advertising, does not use tracking or analytics SDKs, does not access your contacts, and does not sell or share data with data brokers.
3. Where the data lives

4. Legal basis
The workshop processes staff and vehicle data to perform its contract with you (employment) and its customers (repairs), and in its legitimate interest of running an orderly parts store. Camera, location and motion access are only ever used after you grant the permission in iOS or Android, and can be withdrawn there at any time — the corresponding feature then falls back to manual entry.
5. Retention and deletion

To have your account or data deleted, ask your workshop administrator, or write to pakwaten@gmail.com and we will action it with the workshop within 30 days.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and equivalent laws you can ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, and object to or restrict its processing. Requests go to your workshop administrator or to the address above. You may also complain to your national data-protection authority.
7. Security
Data travels over TLS. Access is per workshop: every database rule checks the signed-in user's workshop and role, so staff never see another workshop's records. PINs are stored as salted hashes. The on-device copy lives in the app's private storage.
8. Children
PartYard is a workplace tool for workshop staff and is not directed at children under 16.
9. Changes
We will post any changes here and update the effective date. Material changes are announced in the app.
